Aid to Four Seminary Students $16,000

Four seminary students from the Northwest District will receive $4,000.00 each of financial aid to help them with financial needs while they study for the ministry. Shawn Neider (1), of Winthrop, WA, is married and currently serving his vicarage in Methow Valley, WA. Neider formerly worked for the US Forest Service. Brian Albrecht (2) is currently serving at St. John’s Lutheran in Spokane. He is enrolled in the Specific Ministry Pastor program through Concordia-Ft. Wayne, IN. This is a three year program online/on-campus, resulting in his serving St. John LCMS when completed. Kirk Hulvey (3) is a first year seminarian at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. He is a member of Bethlehem in Kennewick, WA. Mike Miller (4) is married and attending his second year at Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne, IN. He is from Bellingham, WA.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, we ask your blessings upon these four men who have been called to serve You as fulltime workers in your Kingdom. May these students studies be blessed with the loving assistance that the Washington-Alaska District LWML will supply with its mites. Please also bless their families during this time of transition and growth. In Your Holy Name we pray, Amen.
