These funds will be used for outreach events such as vacation Bible schools, the VBS Express, county fair ministries, puppet ministries, small group Bible studies, cowboy worship, and training for outreach. CROSSings Ministries is a broad-based mission including five congregations and their surrounding communities in Washington and three congregations and their surrounding communities in British Columbia, with only four professional church staff in an area more than 75 miles by 125 miles. The churches are all small with limited resources and have joined together to reach a broader range of people. The Greater Okanogan area has a very high percentage of unchurched and dechurched people, and the model of ministry through servant events has proven to be a successful model in several similar geographic areas, including Alaska.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, bless the CROSSings Ministry in the Greater Okanogan area as they present Your Word to the unchurched and dechurched people in Northern Washington and Canada through their various ministries. Bless the Mites of the Washington-Alaska District LWML that are given to help spread the Gospel message of Your amazing love and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. In His Name we pray, Amen.
