These funds will be used to purchase hurricane resistant windows for the House of the Lambs of God Girls’ Orphanage in Ouanaminthe, Haiti. The buildings do not have glass windows and due to the strong winds during the rainy season, the beds, clothes and children get wet. The health of the residents is vulnerable due to this condition. The NEHLM supports both the proclamation and social ministry of the Lambs of God Orphanage. The orphanage has increased by 30-35 residents since the earthquake. This grant will increase the effectiveness of the ministry of Pastor Daniel Paul as he proclaims God’s Word and provides spiritual and physical care for orphaned girls in Ouanaminthe, Haiti.
Prayer: Dear Father in Heaven, Christ the Lord has led the Washington-Alaska District LWML to assist in providing for the spiritual and physical needs of the orphaned girls in Ouanaminthe, Haiti, through our mites and prayers. May the purchase of these hurricane resistant windows for the Nord Est Haiti Lutheran Mission and the support of Pastor Daniel Paul’s ministry further your kingdom and bless the lives of the children living in the Lambs of God Girls Orphanage.
