Mission Grants  2006 - 2008

Cross Country Mission Society $10,000

In the mission field of Southern Idaho is found the greatest amount of unchurched people per capita in the United States.  Furthermore, the largest other church option is the Mormon church.  Funds are needed for further development and implementation of a workbook to be used by CCMS and member congregations.  This workbook would contain the methods this ministry has developed to mobilize established congregations into the mission fields within small communities.  The monies would also be used for transportation costs, craft items, small group and evangelism materials, and other event expenses. This grant is to help establish this mission society in transition from being a Northwest District LCMS program to being self-supported. Administration of the funds will be overseen by the board of directors of the CCMS.

Oh Jesus, Our Savior,

We ask special blessings on the Cross Country Mission Society in southern Idaho.  We know this is a huge mission field.  We want to do our part in bringing Christ to these people so that they can share Jesus’ salvation with others.  Let us freely give our mites to be used for funding a workbook for congregations, for transportation, for craft items, and for small group and evangelism materials.  Thank you, Jesus.

In His name we pray.  Amen.
