Library Books for Lutheran Schools - Guatemala $5,000

These funds will be used to purchase quality books appropriate for a Christian school library.  These funds will be divided among the five Guatemalan Lutheran schools. The purpose of these Lutheran schools is not only to provide education in a country where 20% of the population never attends school and only 7% of the population attends past the sixth grade, but also to bring the Good News of salvation to each child and to thus raise educated leaders within the church.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Five Guatemalan Lutheran schools need books for their libraries.  Our mites will be able to supply these books.  Bless the Lutheran teachers who will be educating the students in secular knowledge and in the saving faith of Jesus.  Grant these leaders within the church to bring both an economic hope to this country as well as a saving hope.

In our Father's name we pray.  Amen.
