"52 Weeks of Giving Thanks and Doing Without"
Sharing Our Blessings with Others
This Ingathering will take 52 weeks. The list of
items is available for download by
clicking here. We borrowed this idea from the LWML website.
We are asking that each zone participate.
If you are a small zone and feel you are unable to do one “Pillow
Case”, please ask another small zone to share with you.
For example: North Columbia Zone and South Columbia Zone could
split the items and each zone do 26 weeks.
The items are inexpensive.
Most can be purchased from the Dollar Store.
The “Pillow Cases” will be given to an agency in
the Olympia area that will be named later.
Make it a fun project.
You could even let the children of the congregation participate!
What a wonderful learning experience for them as they serve our
Lord and help those less fortunate.
We have 11 zones in the WA-AK District.
Let’s try to fill 2 pillow cases for each zone.
You may bring them in the pillow cases or in a
gift bag or zip lock bags.
Include mustard seeds or other spiritual messages also.
Together we can make a difference!
