The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) is an official auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. Since 1942, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to support global missions.

Greetings from District President Carolyn Holbrook
In this season of gratitude, I am humbled by the many blessings which the Lord has bestowed upon me. As I reflect and thank the Lord , I think back to the district convention in Everett last June. Among the memorable events is the selection of the mission grants which we will support during this new biennium. This fall, I was blessed to travel to the beautiful state of Alaska where I attended their zone rally where I met so many wonderful ladies serving the Lord!
I was also privileged to worship with the Funny River Lutheran Church in Soldotna, Alaska, which was the first of our mission grants to be funded this biennium. Our district helped to fund the parsonage which will provide the housing needed to have a full-time pastor. What a joy to see how our mites were at work in action! See the photos from the trip.
