Greetings in the name of our Risen Lord, Jesus Christ!

As we praise our Lord and delight in the beauty of His Spring creation, we count our blessings!  Blessings of family and friends, of our church family, and the joy of serving Him!

Our “Big News” is that as we completed the last day of our fiscal biennium, March 31, 2026, we exceeded our goal!  What a blessings to add to all the others!  We were able to fund our Mission Grants, provide our gift to LWML, and fund the in-reach which supports the expenses of the district.  Thanks be to God for generous hearts who provide for the work of our missions in bringing the “lost and the erring” into fellowship with Him!

Days are rapidly approaching for the 35th Biennial District Convention in Spokane, Washington, July 10-12, 2026. Deb Burma, nationally recognized author of many Bible Studies published by Concordia Publishing Company, will be our Bible Study Leader and Keynote Speaker. Our “Mites in Action” speaker will be Tom Watson who will share

how the Orphan Grain Train used our mission grant to assist their efforts in Ukraine. We will worship Friday evening at the beautiful Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Spokane, just a short drive from the Ruby River Hotel where all the convention will occur. The Mite Walk will be a special event on Saturday afternoon!  Register now and get your shirt as we “paint Spokane purple” walking through town!  All information and registration links are easily found on our district website,                      www.wa-aklwml.org.  If possible, register online, but send a check or money order for the payment to LeeAnn Tibbals. The PayPal fees are more than we anticipated.  Thank you!!

Thank you for supporting your zone’s spring events with “J O Y” ! We look forward to seeing many of you in July!  Remember, “Here I am!  Send me.”

In His Service,                                                        Carolyn Holbrook, President
