2026 District Convention - News from the Mission Servants Committee

Gifts from the Heart and Love in Action Servant Events brought women together in service to the Lord during our recent district convention in July.
Christ Kitchen – a place of hope for women in poverty: Bountiful quantities of Art Materials were brought by LWML women to support Christ Kitchen in their mission to help women heal and overcome critical employment and life challenges, increasing family stability and building personal and community links to economic freedom. Most Ministries – glasses mission: 150 glasses and sunglasses were donated for use by MOST ministries in eyeglasses missions throughout the world.
Fleece Pillows for the elderly: 52 cozy fleece pillows were tied and divided up for LWML members to take back to care centers and elder ministries in their communities and zones.
Salvation Bracelets for the Mite Walk: 48 salvation bracelets were crafted to be given away during the mite walk. Particular thanks go to the Young Women Representatives who helped us achieve this number of bracelets!
Caring Cards for Communities: 140 cards were created with Gospel messages to be taken back and used within church communities and where needed throughout the district.
These gifts of the heart and of our hands were dedicated to the Lord’s service during the convention litany Sunday morning (7/11/2026).
